My story

Gray Guitars - handmade to order

I have been playing the guitar for nearly thirty years.

In that time, I have toured, recorded, jammed and taught using guitars from many of the big names.

I love Gibson guitars, I love Fender guitars and have also played my fair share of more modern axes such as high end Ibanez and Ernie Ball Music Man signature models.

Like many players, I have always wanted to mix the best elements from my favourite instruments into one guitar.

When I could not find this magical combination from a big brand company, I decided that I would make one.

Now, I feel that I have accumulated just the right blend of vintage and modern specifications, choices of woods, hardware and switching combinations. My guitars offer a wider range of usable sounds than most without the need for rows of ugly mini-switches or other unfamiliar additions.

Come to the workshop, bring your favourite guitars and we can sit and talk about what you want in your dream instrument. I have found that many of my customers are not even aware of the options that they could have and what problems can be solved.

You will leave with a better guitar than you imagined.
